Portimão municipal authority is signing a co-operation agreement with the entrepreneurial association of Porto (AEP) and exhibition hall Exponor, also in that city, with the aim of organising periodical fairs and exhibitions in local venues such as the Portimão Arena. The events will be aimed at the MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions) market sector. The agreement takes into account the important role these events play in the economic development of the Algarve and the city.
