A dog that fell from a cliff onto Albufeira’s Maria Luísa beach and was unable to move for two days was rescued by the local firefighters on Sunday morning.
The Golden Retriever is believed to have fallen after becoming disoriented due to the bad weather.
The animal would likely have died if it had not been found in time. The owners were “desperately” searching for their pet.
It was the 14th animal local firefighters have rescued this year.
