November 20 at the luxurious Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, saw the official launch of the latest Essential magazine outside of Portugal.
The event was attended by some 200 guests from Kuala Lumpur’s high society and business circles and was hosted by Open Media, publishers of the Algarve Resident, and its Malaysian joint venture partners The Expat Group.
The launch was toasted with fine wines from Portugal supplied by Quinta dos Vales of the Algarve, whose wines are now available on the Malaysian market.
Speaking on stage in the photo is Yang Berhormat Dato’ Raja Nong Chik, Minister of Federal Territories and Urban Wellbeing, officially representing the Malaysian government at the event.
Also on stage are: Frank Stocek, general manager of the Mandarin Oriental Kuala Lumpur; Andy Davison CEO of The Expat Group; Bruce Hawker of Open Media; fashion designer Bill Keith; and Mr. Antoine Bakhache of Bakhache Luxuries.
