BIG BROTHER fans will be delighted to hear that BB celebrities Liam and Ziggy are making an appearance at Praia da Luz’s popular nightspot, Le Privé on August 6.
Doors open at 10pm where DJ Johnny B will be performing until Ziggy and Liam arrive at 11pm where they will take over to play 60s, Tamla Motown and party classics until 1am and then again from 2am until 6am. Tickets to the event cost 15 euros each and should be purchased in advance from Le Privé to guarantee entry as there will be limited availability at the door on the night. Each ticket includes two free drinks.
Le Privé was recently taken over by Acti-Ventura, a local company with four partners, including long term residents Grant Faulkner and Alastair Marshall. The partners have big plans for the club, including re-branding in the not too distant future. In the meantime, the club continues to attract local Portuguese, foreigners and its fair share of holidaymakers in the area.
Regular events
Conveniently located next to the beach in Luz, Grant explains that plans for the club include regular performances by international and local bands, and sports events like darts, football and pool.
Drinks promotion events are also planned on the club’s schedule. Regular events featuring celebrities are on the go – Superstar DJ Brandon Block performed at the club last month, for example.
‘Over 30’ nights are set to begin in September where the club will feature varied types of music that will appeal to the 30+ age group.
Currently employing around eight members of staff, Le Privé is open seven nights a week from 11pm until 6am.
