A Portuguese materials engineer has created an innovative generator able to supply energy fuelled by the wind and the sun. Pedro Ruão’s device has won him the Altran Foundation for Innovation award for Portugal.
Called Omniflow, the invention is said to reduce electricity bills by 80% in conventional homes and 100% in smart homes. It has been available for purchase since September this year and is being eagerly snapped up by buyers from all over the world.
