Guia’s Zoomarine theme park has been awarded ‘American Humane Certified’ standards, making it one of just four institutions in Europe to be recognised by the century-old organisation.
To obtain this certification, companies must abide by demanding criteria that ensures animals’ wellbeing.
“This elite distinction shows the world the commitment of Zoomarine to giving its animals the highest standard of treatment,” said Robin Ganzert, president and CEO of American Humane.
