The fourth ‘Moving to Portugal’ event will be held on Thursday, March 22 at the Pestana Chelsea Bridge hotel in central London.
These seminars have become hugely successful, attracting hundreds of people keen on learning more about the process of moving to Portugal.
The last event was held at the same venue on October 23 and pulled a crowd of 629 people, which was described at the time as “a clear sign that growing numbers of people in the UK are seriously looking to leave the country ahead of Brexit.”
This upcoming seminar will cover a number of issues related to the process of moving to Portugal, including the legal aspects of buying a property in Portugal, how to plan your tax and financial affairs in advance, how to structure mortgage finance and your daily finances, how to reduce your currency risks, how the country’s Non Habitual Residence (NHR) programme works, and what changes Brexit may bring.
Speakers include representatives from the worlds of tax advice, law and currency exchange.
Doors will open at 11am and close at 9pm. The first seminar begins at 11.30am and will last around two hours, with a coffee break in the middle for half an hour.
The seminar will then be repeated at 3pm and 6.30pm to allow more visitors to attend the seminars during the afternoon and after work. Within each two-hour seminar there will be several short 15-minute presentations from specialists.
Seminars are free to attend but reserving a seat in advance is advisable due to their popularity.
The Open Media Group is an official media partner for the event and will be providing copies of Essential Algarve magazine and the Algarve Resident to all attendees.
