Recently opened in Quinta do Lago is a new architectural office, ZEN Arquitectura, incorporating “the best of breed concepts from around the world”.
Having grown up in Germany, Anabela Macieira studied architecture and over the last 18 years has studied and practised a vast array of topics including green architecture, renewable energies, spatial design and project management.
ZEN Arquitectura combines this knowledge to deliver end-to-end, tailor-made solutions to its clients.
Anabela said: “Building houses in Portugal isn’t without its own set of difficulties, such as rising damp, inadequate insulation and choice of the wrong building materials. Having worked on projects throughout Europe, I have been able to witness, first-hand, the various techniques used and can apply the ones which I believe are the best for my clients in Portugal.”
