Road accidents with victims in Portugal drop 25% in 2020

One of the ‘good effects’ of the lockdown and pandemic restrictions has been the 25% fall in the number of road accidents with victims. This was recorded over 2020, with a 20% drop in the number of people killed or seriously injured in road traffic accidents. The full report has been published today by ANSR (the national road safety authority).
