Santander Totta Bank was considered the most stable large bank in Portugal for the third consecutive year. The bank was awarded this accolade by specialist Portuguese magazine Exame on November 28, based on an annual study carried out by consulting company Deloitte and Informa D&B.
The study is based on five criteria, including the cost of credit risk, pension payments and the ratios of bad debt, requests for capital and tier one capital.
