Portugal’s hospitals are currently treating the lowest number of Covid patients in six-and-a-half months. In the last 24-hours numbers have reduced to 512, of which 126 are in intensive care. Today’s bulletin has recorded seven deaths (six in Lisbon, one in the north), 280 new cases, 318 ‘recoveries’ and a further drop in the active case count, to 26,294. Rt (transmission) is still at 0.97; incidence rates nationally remain at 62.9 cases per 100,000 (well within the government’s ‘red lines’).
