Tourist train crash leaves 14 injured in Tavira

Luckily, injuries seem to have been minor

Fourteen people were injured today (September 16) after two tourist trains collided on the route between Pedras d’El Rei and Barril beach in Tavira, Algarve.

According to Correio da Manhã tabloid, all the victims are tourists. Emergency teams from the fire service and the National Institute of Medical Emergency (INEM) were dispatched to the site and are providing assistance.

CM adds that the injuries sustained by the tourists are considered minor.
