Vero Moda to open 10 stores across Portugal by 2027

Vero Moda is owned by Bestseller, the Danish group behind Jack & Jones and Only

Vero Moda, described as “one of Europe’s best-known fashion brands” is making a big move into Portugal.

The brand has a nearly 40-year-long history which is about to add a new chapter with the planned opening of 10 standalone stores across Portugal by 2027. It is part of the Danish group Bestseller, also behind names like Jack & Jones and Only.

The rollout is expected to create 80 new jobs, with the company currently scouting locations nationwide. Each store will be about 250 square metre and will feature a clean, Scandinavian-inspired design.

Vero Moda offers a wide range of wardrobe staples—from dresses and jeans to cardigans and accessories—and includes a plus-size collection as well.

“Our goal is to become a key name in mid-range women’s fashion in Portugal,” said Diogo Bartolomeu, CEO of Bestseller Portugal. “Our growth is ambitious but responsible, sustained always by solid operations, relevant brands and a cultural based on delivering the right product, at the right time, at the right price.”
