Algarve Nature Week is back for the fourth year, from April 13 to 22, and again will take advantage of the region’s natural characteristics to feature a number of nature-related activities.
With its “mild weather, pristine beaches, stunning countryside and mountains, and vibrant wildlife”, the Algarve is being promoted as a top destination for nature lovers, perfect for bird and dolphin watching.
“Nature tourism has grown quickly in the last decades, hence the reason for investing our efforts in developing this area,” said Algarve tourism chief Desidério Silva.
Nature activities will take place across the Algarve during the event, with organisers saying that a record number of companies and hotels have signed up this year as partners.
