The body of a young Irish man (no identity so far given) was found in a street in Casal Ventoso, Lisbon, this morning.
According to police, there were signs of aggression, namely a ‘wound to the head’.
The body of the 26-year-old was discovered in Rua Costa Pimenta, at around 8.50, “prostrate on the ground”, says a statement from PJ judicial police.
This is the second report today of the death of a foreign national in the Lisbon area due to some form of attack. The only positive addition to the morning’s news is that police are reported to have located the suspected killers of the first man reported killed.
