This past weekend the Algarve’s Christ the King Anglican Church invited everyone to roll up their sleeves and tap into their “creative” side as they got together to build their own unique Christmas Wreaths in time for the start of the season.
There were several styles of wreaths available to decorate and hang on the front door from eco friendly versions to be decorated with herbs and spices and the more traditional greenery models which were adorned with bows, ribbons and, of course, Christmas baubles.
Demonstrations were held, ideas swapped, poinsettias positioned, mulled wine drunk, of course mince pies were eaten and, after several hours, everyone walked away with their own personally decorated masterpiece.
Christ the King Anglican Church is holding its Christmas Fayre this Saturday, November 29, in The Church by the Lake, Jardim das Comunidades, Almancil and meets there every Sunday at 10.30am for worship.
