Construction of Almancil’s new GNR police station is finally underway on a plot of land near the local sports complex. The works started on Monday (April 2) following a ceremony led by Secretary of State for Internal Administration Isabel Oneto.
The €1.1 million project had been in the pipeline since 2014 and is considered “essential” in an area that is home to two of the region’s main luxury destinations – Vale do Lobo and Quinta do Lago.
