DevFest Lagos 2025 returns for its third edition, establishing itself as one of the Algarve’s leading technology and innovation events. Organised by Google Developer Group (GDG) Lagos – a local community focused on innovation, technology, and digital entrepreneurship – in collaboration with the City Hall, Fábrica do Empreendedor, and CoLagos – a Municipal Coworking Space – the event will take place on October 10, 14, 17, and 18, featuring various community initiatives.
DevFest is the world’s largest community-led technology conference, promoted by Google Developer Groups (GDGs) – the biggest network of technology developers, present in more than 140 countries. Characterised by its diversity and collaborative spirit, DevFest annually brings together professionals, students, and enthusiasts to share knowledge and explore the latest technology trends.
The Lagos 2025 edition offers four distinct experiences:

October 18 – Lagos City Hall: This is the main day of the event, themed “AI: from Theory to Action.” It will include seven lectures, two workshops, and international speakers discussing topics such as artificial intelligence, cloud computing, and application development. The October 18 programme includes an event kit, coffee breaks, lunch, and a dinner gathering for participants, digital communities, and experts.
