The Algarve capital of Faro will host a gathering of Ford Mustang enthusiasts on April 25, bringing together classic and modern versions of the iconic model.
The initiative is being organised by the Mustang Clube Algarve, Sulpeças Faro and the team behind Americancars Algarve.
Participants will include owners of multiple Mustang generations, from vintage models to the latest high-performance editions. Organisers say the event is designed not only as a social gathering, but also as a “warm-up” for the larger Americancars Algarve event, scheduled to take place in Faro between July 31 and August 2.
After a group lunch in the city, the Mustang convoy will head out on a scenic drive through the eastern Algarve, with stops planned in Olhão and Fuzeta, before ending with a final display at Praia de Faro.
Organisers say the initiative is aimed at strengthening the community of American car enthusiasts and reinforcing Faro’s growing reputation as a hub for this culture in Portugal.
