Join Almancil Rotary Club’s mission to save the bees

Fun, educational event to support bee conservation

Almancil International Rotary Club is launching an initiative called “Bee the Change: Protect our Pollinators”, aimed at raising awareness and “taking action to protect the declining bee population in the Algarve”.

As part of this campaign, the Club is hosting a Spring Fair on Saturday, May 31 at Jardim Vista in Almancil, from 10am to 6pm. There will be honey tasting and a local honey market, pollinator friendly garden plants and ideas where you can plant or help the bees.

“Bees play a vital role in food security and biodiversity, and we believe this campaign is an opportunity to engage the Algarve community in sustainable action,” say organisers.

There will also be live music, games, eco-friendly stalls, and food and beverages. Entrance is free.
