Lisbon firefighters turning up the heat for a good cause

2026 charity calendar will be launched soon, costing €10 each

Lisbon firefighters have stripped off for a good cause. The Bombeiros Sapadores de Lisboa 2026 charity calendar will be officially launched on Saturday, November 8. Each calendar will cost €10.

With pictures showing half-naked firefighters with toned abs, dressed only from the waist down, the sexy charity calendar has become a popular annual tradition.

Featuring 12 volunteers, the calendar aims to highlight the firefighters’ “dedication, team spirit, commitment and humanity that define their daily work”, say the project’s authors.

The initiative is promoted by the Lisbon Fire Brigade Social Services Association (ASSRSB), with the support of the Lisbon Fire Brigade (RSB Lisboa) and Acreditar – Association of Parents and Friends of Children diagnosed with Cancer.

All proceeds from the sale of the calendars are going to support ASSRSB in the purchase of equipment for firefighters and Acreditar, helping improve the quality of life of children and young people affected by cancer and their families.

The launch event on November 8 will be at the Worten square in the Colombo Shopping Centre in Lisbon, at 3.30pm. Representatives from the Lisbon City Council, Acreditar and the Fire Brigade will be in attendance, as well as the RSB Lisbon Music Band, which is celebrating its centenary this year.

Visitors will be able to purchase the calendar at the launch event and, from November 10, at the RSB Headquarters (Avenida de Berlim, Lisbon) or online.
