PORTUGUESE POLICE are expected to meet this week with a Spanish freelance reporter who claims Madeleine’s disappearance is linked to a known paedophile.
At the time The Resident went to press, it was being reported that the Polícia Judiciária were determined to “look closer” at information provided by António Toscano “before considering it inconclusive”.
Police are said to have had several telephone conversations with Toscano, who believes the abduction of Madeleine McCann involves of an identified paedophile known as “O Francês” (the Frenchman).
Toscano says the man was seen in Sevilla just before Madeleine’s disappearance, but nobody has seen him since May 3.
