Prizes include €25, €50 and €100 vouchers
Portimão municipal council has launched a new campaign to support local businesses, with €15,000 in shopping vouchers up for grabs for anyone who shops locally until September 22.
In partnership with local trade and tourism associations (ACRAL, APCS and ATP), the campaign aims to breathe new life into the town’s traditional shopping streets during the busy summer months.
For every €10 spent, shoppers receive a raffle ticket (up to 20 per purchase). These can be submitted with the original receipt and tax number (NIF) at the municipal one-stop shop Balcão Único (Rua do Comércio, no. 29/31) on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, from 10am to 1pm and 2pm to 5pm.
There will be three prize draws – on July 30, August 27, and September 24 – with €5,000 in vouchers given away each time. Prizes include €25, €50, and €100 vouchers, valid at participating businesses across Portimão.
Winners can use their vouchers until October 15, 2025, on purchases of €10 or more (no change or refunds).
Owners of a shop, café, or service business in Portimão can join the campaign for free by signing up at the Balcão Único, where they will receive raffle tickets to hand out to customers. Vouchers used at business will be reimbursed by the municipality upon submission of the voucher and purchase invoice.
