The ‘mini-holidays’ everyone looks forward to over Easter look likely to be overshadowed by rain, strong wind and a drop in temperatures.
The dismal news has come just as the Algarve is finally bathed in bright springtime sunshine.
IPMA meteorologists warn “it’s all about to change”, suggesting rain could be dogging our everyday until April 8 at least, with lower than normal temperatures for this time of year.
The only plus-point is that the Algarve should be getting the ‘best’ of the weather picture.
Northern districts are in line for the worst, with snow due in the ‘terras altas’ as well as certain areas of the centre.
