Five Nobel International School Algarve students in Year 12 achieved the highest marks possible in their AS Level Physics and Chemistry exams this spring.
Niketa Pillay, João Lehodey, Aurelien Cailleux and Cameron Dent all achieved 100% in their Edexcel AS Physics exam and Jasmine Wragg achieved 100% for Chemistry.
The students all agreed that one of the factors affecting their success was reading around their subject, finding out new information that goes beyond the text books and lessons, and they felt inspired to do this by their teachers.
Head of School Mike Farrer said: “We have seen fantastic levels of effort and commitment from these students and this is consistent in lessons and home study. Their teachers are rightfully very proud of their successes and drive.”
