Members of the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs met on September 11 at Restaurante Vivendo at Meia Praia in Lagos to enjoy a touch of Switzerland in the western Algarve.
Swiss owners of the restaurant, Vincent and Karin Winiker, with young chef Christoph Voigt, prepared a meal for the 33 guests which included a consommé of guinea fowl with thyme roasted dumplings, Alentejo roasted beef and a mousse of Kumabo chocolate with marinated wild berries.
The next Chaîne des Rôtisseurs event will be held on October 8 at the Michelin starred Ocean restaurant at Vila Vita Parc, Porches.
