Pepper’s Steakhouse, described as the “Mecca for meat lovers” at the five-star Tivoli Marina Vilamoura hotel, will be hosting a special wine pairing dinner this Friday and Saturday (March 30-31).
Entitled ‘Meat Wine Makers’, the event will see chef André Basto and wine producer and sommelier Dirk Niepoort teaming up for what promises to be a mouth-watering event.
Niepoort owns a number of wineries all over Portugal, from Douro and Bairrada to Dão and Vinhos Verdes region, and will be pairing several of his wines with a signature menu created by Basto.
The menu will include duck, turbot, cod, oxtail, shoulder blade and entrecote, as well as a selection of cheeses and a chocolate dessert. Each dish will be paired with a carefully selected wine.
