HAVING EMIGRATED from his home country of Moldavia for economic reasons in 2001, Jaime Evgenie has worked extremely hard against all odds and built a successful and growing construction company, Capital Sprut, in the Algarve.
With almost 10 years experience in construction, having worked in Russia and Portugal, Jaime decided it was time to work for himself.
“I learnt Portuguese quite quickly and then decided it was time to strike out independently as life can be difficult working for a Portuguese boss,” he said.
“I wanted to offer customers a quality service that is efficient and cost effective for them. I enjoy working with the British speaking community as they genuinely appreciate the work my team and I produce.”
The company is doing well and Jaime Evgenie has now employed Emma King, an English and Portuguese speaking administrator who has lived in the country for 10 years.
“Emma is wonderful; she mediates between the team and our non Portuguese speaking clients very professionally,” he said.
The company undertakes any construction project, including building new houses, swimming pools, renovation of existing constructions and garden walls.
Capital Sprut offers a complete service to clients as it works in conjunction with a fully qualified architect.
“We aim to offer high standards of work and no project is too small for us to consider,” said Jaime Evgenie, adding: “We undertake projects across the Algarve; so far we have worked in Faro, Tavira, Sagres and many other places.”
For some expert advice or a quotation on your latest project, please call Emma King on 961 657 332, alternatively the office is located at Rua António José Marques , Nº 5 R/C Dtº, Portimão.
