GOODWOODS have only been at their new shop for a year but the business is a family company that dates back to 1974.
Many things have changed over the years and the children of the founders have been continuing their parents’ success for last 13 years.
Paul Goodchild and Louise Woodhams joined up to specialise in all aspects of interior and exterior furniture and soft furnishings.
The company has a large range of fabrics for clients to choose from, as well as supplying furniture of all styles from a number of companies to suit all budgets.
Louise Woodhams told The Resident: “At GoodWoods we all like to make our clients feel comfortable and relaxed when they are choosing to decorate and furnish their homes.
“We don’t push our own styles; instead, we work with our clients to turn their thoughts into reality”.
With many of their clients being foreign, all of the staff are multilingual and are always on hand to offer advice to each and every customer.
GoodWoods works with many property development companies and investors, fully furnishing properties and gardens, from beds to cutlery and towels, all items are supplied and installed by the company.
They also work with individual private clients wanting to furnish their home or needing that last item or accessory.
The new showroom, which opened a year ago in Lagoa, is impressive. The furniture and accessories are constantly changing to keep up with new styles and show the customer new and fresh ideas.
