Alcoutim: Paulo Paulino secures majority with 56.45% of the vote

Paulino will continue at the helm of the sleepy municipality of Alcoutim

Alcoutim, the Algarve municipality with the lowest number of registered voters, will continue being led by a Socialist (PS) mayor.

Paulo Paulino, who replaced long-time mayor Osvaldo Gonçalves in 2024, secured 56.45% of the votes (985), more than PSD (37.19%, 649).

Municipal council seats will be split into three for PS and two for PSD.
