Aldi Portugal has launched a new recruitment campaign in the Algarve to strengthen store teams ahead of the busy summer months.
The initiative, under the slogan “Do half a shift and earn your whole summer”, aims to respond to increased activity and customer numbers during the peak tourist season.
Job opportunities are available in several locations across the region, including Alcantarilha, Tavira, Portimão, Lagos, Olhão, Lagoa, Albufeira, Vale da Parra, Altura and Vila Real de Santo António.
The roles are part-time, with shifts running from 4pm to 8pm or from 8pm to midnight, offering candidates a chance to “gain experience, develop skills and gain autonomy in the job market”.
To connect directly with applicants, the company will host a series of open days in partnership with local employment services.
The first sessions take place on Thursday, April 9 in Quarteira, at the Loulé Employment Centre (Avenida 25 de Abril, 33), with sessions at 10.30am and 3pm.
On Friday, April 10, open days will be held in Vila Real de Santo António at the local employment service on Rua Catarina Eufémia, 53A, at 10.30am, and in Tavira at the Tavira Employment Centre on Rua Tenente-Coronel Melo Antunes, 160 (ground floor) at 3.30pm.
On Wednesday, April 15, sessions will take place in Lagos at the Lagos Employment Service (Rua Teixeira Gomes, Lote 1-C) at 12pm, in Portimão at the Portimão Employment and Vocational Training Service (Urbanização Caldeira do Moinho, Rua da Abicada) at 4pm, and in Albufeira at IEFP Albufeira (Rua das Quintas 2/3) at 3pm.
The final round of open days will be held on Friday, April 17 in Olhão at the Faro Employment Service (Rua Dr. Cândido Guerreiro, nº 41), with sessions at 10.30am and 3.30pm.
