The Algarve Tourism Board has announced its return to the Better Living in Portugal Exhibition (BLiP Expo 2025), the largest national event dedicated to the foreign community living and owning property in Portugal.
The 25th edition will be held on 11 and 12 October at the Portimão Arena, bringing together dozens of exhibitors and visitors eager to explore solutions and services that improve quality of life in the country.
Organised by AFPOP – Association of Foreign Owners in Portugal, BLiP Expo is a renowned event that, for twenty-five years, has facilitated meetings between residents, companies, and institutions in a casual yet professional setting.
The event again has the backing of Turismo do Algarve, a partner since the very first editions, which further demonstrates its dedication to Residential Tourism and the diversification of the regional offering.
During the two-day event, the Turismo do Algarve stand, shared with the Algarve Wine Commission (CVA), will provide visitors with tourist information, regional publications, and promotional gifts.
As in previous editions, the CVA will feature a small display of regional flavours, including tasting sessions of Algarve wines organised by three local producers: Quinta do Canhoto, Adega Sampaio Schleiss, and Quinta dos Capinhas. These tastings provide an opportunity to showcase the quality and authenticity of wines produced in the region, highlighting its winemaking heritage and connection to the Mediterranean land and climate.
In 2025, BLiP Expo will bring together a diverse range of exhibitors, including companies from the service, healthcare, insurance, and real estate sectors, as well as public entities and organisations supporting investment and integration. This year’s edition will also include a Faro Airport PSP stand, which will offer information on the new Entry and Exit System (EES) that will be in operation at European borders from October 12.
With free admission and parking, the fair will be open to the public on Saturday from 10:00 am to 18:00 and on Sunday from 10:00 am to 16:00. The entire exhibition is held indoors, ensuring visitors’ comfort regardless of the weather conditions.
This participation reinforces Turismo do Algarve’s commitment to promoting the region as an excellent place to live and invest, in accordance with the strategy to enhance Residential Tourism outlined in the Algarve Tourism Strategic Marketing Plan 2028.
