The Algarve Wine Commission (CVA) has registered the trademark Vinhos do Algarve (Algarve Wines) at the National Institute of Industrial Property (INPI) and has also created the official website of the brand at www.vinhosdoalgarve.pt (available only in Portuguese).
The CVA will promote Vinhos do Algarve at events such as AlgarVini in Loulé, Bolsa de Turismo (Tourism Fair) in Lisbon, and the Festival do Vinho (Wine Festival) and Allgarve Gourmet in Portimão.
Owners of catering businesses are also being encouraged by the CVA to recommend Algarve wines to their clients.
