Shopping centre is teaming up with two local animal charities
AlgarveShopping is hosting two animal adoption events in May in a bid to find forever homes for animals in need.
The first is scheduled for this Saturday (May 10) between 10am and 3pm near the shopping centre’s Meeting Point on the ground floor, where visitors will be able to meet some of the dogs in the care of Algarve animal sanctuary Wigglestail. The second will take place on Saturday, May 24 from 10am to 5pm at the same location, this time shining the spotlight on Animal Rescue Algarve (ARA). Visitors will also be able to schedule visits to the respective shelters to meet even more animals looking for a second chance.
As the Guia-based shopping centre points out, both Wigglestail and ARA are committed to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming vulnerable animals, working year-round to raise awareness about the responsibilities and joys of adopting.
Alongside hosting these events, AlgarveShopping presents itself as a pet-friendly space. Not only are pets welcome in the common areas, but many of the stores also allow animals inside – visitors just need to look for the pet-friendly signs.
