The Algarve Box Cup 2026 returns to Lagoa from January 23 to 25, bringing three days of top-level boxing to the Jacinto Correia Municipal Sports Pavilion.
Widely regarded as the biggest boxing competition in the Algarve and one of the most prestigious tournaments in Portugal, the event will once again draw elite Olympic boxers from Portugal and abroad.
“The last edition of ABC, in 2025, was also hosted by Lagoa and was attended by 103 elite boxers, from 17 countries. The reviews make us believe that the event will grow exponentially this year,” organisers say on the event’s website.
Part of the Portuguese Boxing Federation’s official calendar, the Algarve Box Cup promises to draw scores of fans to the town.
