Holiday Inn resorts around the world celebrated the brand’s 60th anniversary on August 1.
Founded by Kemmons Wilson, the first Holiday Inn hotel opened in Memphis, Tennessee in 1952 and has since developed 3,375 hotels globally under the brands: Holiday Inn, Holiday Inn Express, Holiday Inn Resorts and Holiday Inn Club Vacations.
In commemoration of the event, the Holiday Inn is inviting everyone to share any moments they may have had with the brand, particularly with the Holiday Inn Algarve in Armação de Pêra, by posting about your “past and present” moment on Facebook or Twitter.
