Portugal’s construction sector is expected to continue on a downward spiral this year, with recovery only likely to begin in 2014. These are the predictions of DBK consultants. In 2012, construction activity will likely drop 9%. DBK also expects the residential building industry to “contract significantly” based on the reduced number of building licence requests.
