Portuguese exports to China increased by 45.8% in the first nine months of 2012, to around €940 million. Exports from January to September were more than for the whole of 2011, confirmed Portugal’s Ambassador to China, José Tadeu Soares, citing figures from the Chinese Customs Service. “There has been a slight slowdown in September, but the figures remain encouraging,” he said.
