Faro Airport is taking part in a nationwide online recruitment campaign offering more than 500 job vacancies, including operational and passenger support roles, it announced this week.
Gago Coutinho Airport will once again participate in the national initiative, with online interviews scheduled for January 13 as part of the ‘Open Air Days’ campaign, promoted by Job&Talent powered by Multitempo.
Running from January 13 to 15, the campaign offers over 500 employment opportunities across Portuguese airports. In Faro Airport’s case, applications must be submitted by January 9.
The vacancies cover key operational roles essential to airport activity, including ground handling, traffic coordination and passenger assistance. Particular emphasis is placed on positions supporting passengers with reduced mobility. All roles are aimed at ensuring operational efficiency and maintaining high standards of customer service.
Recruitment sessions will be conducted exclusively online, starting at 10am, and will require mandatory registration and a prior selection process.
Candidates can access detailed information about available roles, job requirements and the application process through a dedicated online form. Registration is compulsory.
According to the employer, the decision to adopt a fully digital recruitment model reflects a “commitment to more agile and accessible hiring processes, with a strong focus on the candidate experience, in line with the evolving demands of the airport sector”.
The company is one of Portugal’s largest employers, with more than 16,000 employees in 2025, and operates nationwide through several hubs, including Faro.
