Show your support in the fight against breast cancer by taking part in a human ribbon to be created using 1,000 people in the sports area of Praia da Rocha at 4pm.
The event, organised by the Algarve Oncology Association (AOA) and supported by afpop and Papelaria Sagres, will raise money for the creation of a home to support patients undergoing radiotherapy in Faro.
Registration to take part in the human ribbon will be open today (Friday) and tomorrow (Saturday) at the Pavilhão Desportivo in Portimão with each person making a donation to take part.
Participants will each receive a pink t-shirt, cap and scarf to be worn during the event with the human ribbon being captured by an aerial photograph on the day.
