Faro will be representing the Algarve in this year’s last session of the Ignite networking event on November 30 in the region’s capital city.
Paris, London, Singapore, Beijing, Seattle, Munich, New York, and many other cities in the world will also represent their countries.
Ignite is a global event that is organised and carried out by volunteers and entrepreneurs in many cities at corresponding times.
At each event at least 16 people will be given five minutes to each speak about their ideas and personal or professional passions, accompanied by 20 screen slides. Each slide is displayed for 15 to 20 seconds, and then automatically advanced.
The presentations are meant to ‘ignite’ the audience on a subject, generate awareness and to stimulate thought and action on the issues presented.
Prior to Faro’s upcoming Ignite session, Albufeira, São Brás de Alportel, Loulé and Portimão had all held successful meetings.
Attendance at the presentation is free and it will be held at the Instituto Português do Desporto e Juventude in Faro at 7.30pm.
Anyone is eligible to be a speaker at this event and registration is now open.
