Autumn has arrived, and with it comes the return of Game Season at Vila Vita Biergarten, running until November 16. This special menu celebrates the rich flavours of the season with a focus on wild game, paired with German and craft beers.
Guests can indulge in a variety of seasonal dishes, from the Hunter’s Platter of wild board sausages and ‘presunto’, to marinated partridge corn and pomegranate bread, and the aromatic and delicate velvety pheasant. For those craving bolder flavours, the game goulash and BBQ wild boar ribs are highlights, while the mushroom ragout with pretzel dumpling was crafted especially for vegetarians. The menu ends with apple cake with walnut ice cream, celebrating the best of autumn produce.
Every dish was “carefully crafted to showcase local and seasonal ingredients, blending Portuguese cuisine with the warm welcoming spirit of Bavaria,” the Vila Vita Biergarten team says.
The menu was designed to be shared and paired with cold beers, from the classic weissbiers to Algarve craft beers.
