An appeal for animal food and other items has been put out by São Francisco kennels in Loulé.
Dog and cat food, cat litter sand, flea collars, used blankets and rugs, cleaning products and bric-a-brac for resale at fairs are all needed to help kennel volunteers continue their work of protecting abandoned animals.
Águas do Algarve, with offices at Rua do Repouso nº10 in Faro, has offered to be a collection point for the donations. Items can be dropped box until December 20.
