Lamera Cup brings 24-hour racing action to Portimão

Endurance challenge brings more than 30 cars to Portimão track this September

After a summer break, motorsport season is set to resume at the Algarve International Racetrack as the Lamera Cup makes its return to Portimão on the first weekend of September (5-7).

The 24-hour endurance race promises to put drivers and their cars to the ultimate test along the racetrack’s 15 sweeping curves. With more than 30 identical cars on the grid – each packing 330 horsepower in a lightweight 1,000 kg frame – the competition promises fast, fierce and closely matched action.

The event begins on Friday, September 5 with a track day, while the main race begins at 4.30pm on Saturday, September 6. Qualifying takes place earlier that day, between 1pm and 2.15pm.

Tickets are set at €10 for paddock access, available at the Kartódromo Internacional do Algarve shop, on sale from Friday, September 5.
