Two off-duty PSP officers had to be hospitalised after being attacked by a couple in a bar in Praia da Rocha last Saturday.
One of the officers has undergone surgery at Faro Hospital after being hit in the head with the woman’s high-heeled shoe, while the other had to receive treatment at Portimão Hospital for a broken arm.
The PSP have confirmed the incident. The reasons for the altercation are unknown.
