Portimão’s Antiques Fair (Feira das Velharias), which takes place on the first and third Sundays of each month at the Portimão Fair and Exhibition Park, will temporarily move to the city’s riverside area.
The fairs scheduled for February 1 and 15, March 1 and 15, and April 19 will be held in the riverside area, between the Clube Naval and the petrol station. There will be no fair on April 5 (Easter Sunday).
On May 3, these events will return to the usual venue, outside the Portimão Arena.
The local council says: “The temporary relocation is due to important events taking place at the Portimão Arena, making it impossible to hold the fair there.”
Portimão’s Antiques Fair attracts thousands of people on the first and third Sunday of each month, and there they find all kinds of used products, from clothing and footwear to books, antique furniture, small electrical appliances, utility items, decorative objects, and more.
