Portimão is preparing to host the fourth edition of Investor Talks, which in just three editions has grown to become the “largest financial literacy event” in Portugal.
Set to take place at the Portimão Arena on September 13 and 14, the event will bring together a diverse group of prominent speakers, investors, and entrepreneurs with the goal of shining the spotlight on the importance of financial literacy – in other words, the knowledge and skills needed to make important financial decisions.

According to organisers, this year’s edition promises to be even more ambitious, with a stronger focus on providing practical content and opportunities for high-level networking for “those who want to take control of their future and money.”
The conference will feature a lineup of speakers who aim to “inspire the public with a fresh perspective on personal and corporate finance, investment, savings, and financial applications”. Confirmed participants include several successful entrepreneurs, including Liliana Filipa and Bruna Fernandes, both featured on the “Forbes under 30” list, who will share their innovative approaches to financial management within the digital economy. Meanwhile, the founder of the Laskasas Group, Celso Lascasas, will discuss his “transformative experiences” in business and investment, while Rita Piçarra, former CFO of Microsoft Portugal, will contribute her “strategic corporate vision”. Other notable names include digital influencer Vanessa Martins, and various CEOs and founders of successful companies such as André Cidade (O Melhor Croissant da Minha Rua), Jaime Costa (Parkalgar/Autódromo Internacional do Algarve), Hélder Ferreira (Fitness UP), Hugo Pinheiro (Credível.pt), Afonso Bento (ASBX), João Pedro (JPFinancas.pt), Gabriel Ferreira (New TradingHorizons), and André Freitas (Cash Hunters).
Over 30 lectures featuring national and international experts are planned, taking place on three separate stages: the Main Stage is geared toward introductory levels, making it ideal for those new to financial concepts; the XTB Stage is dedicated to more technical and advanced knowledge,; and the Authentic Stage will focus on exclusive investment opportunities in areas like real estate, luxury watches, sports cars, and startups. The program includes focused blocks of talks on topics such as personal finance, the stock market, business and networking, real estate, accounting, trading, technical analysis, and cryptocurrencies. Discussions will cover everything from investment strategies in stocks, ETFs, and pension funds to the advantages and disadvantages of specific investments and common mistakes made by novice investors.
The event is designed for a varied audience, from young professionals and entrepreneurs to established business owners and investors. The team behind the event stresses that its mission is not to “sell dreams,” but to provide accessible and applicable knowledge directly from the mouths of people who have achieved success.

In addition to the talks, the Portimão Arena will host a number of interactive and social features. Attendees can access VIP lounge areas, enjoy a sunset event, and explore an exhibition of supercars and sports bikes. The venue will also feature 30 stands from companies in the financial and technological sectors.
Organized by local entrepreneur Ruben Rocha with the support of the municipal council of Portimão, the event has rapidly grown since its founding in 2023. This fourth edition is expected to attract 2,000 in-person participants and generate over 3 million impressions on social media.
Ticket prices range from €54.99 for online access to €399.99 for an exclusive pass. The full program and general access conditions can be found on the official website.
