The W Algarve in Galé, Albufeira, has quietly started a new weekend ritual. Since September, the Sunday Brunch at Paper Moon has been drawing crowds to the hotel’s top floor, where stunning views and a laid-back vibe set the tone for long, lazy Sundays.
From 12.30pm to 3.30pm, guests can dive into a line-up that mixes Live Station, Buffet, À La Carte and Pass-Around Service, all soundtracked by a live DJ. The spread covers everything from fresh breads, pastries, cheeses and charcuterie to cold plates and salads. Egg lovers get the star treatment too, with Avocado Toast, Eggs Florentine, Eggs Benedict and the standout Crispy Eggs with potato foam, sweet-and-sour onions and taleggio sauce.


As servers circulate with gnocchi in truffle cream or saffron risotto, the hot dishes keep the bar high: Rana Pescatrice (oven-roasted monkfish with pancetta and dill sauce) and Rollatina di Pollo (spinach-and-mozzarella-stuffed chicken in porcini cream).
The experience ends with desserts like the classic Tiramisù or a Madagascar Vanilla Panna Cotta with almond crumble and raspberry sauce.
The brunch is €48 per person, including a welcome drink, with 50% off for children up to 12. Add house wines and soft drinks for €38 or go all-in with Prosecco (€48) or Champagne (€78).
