Sushi & Vino pop-up launches at W Algarve

A new pop-up culinary experience has been launched at W Algarve in Albufeira, bringing a weekly fusion of Asian and Mediterranean flavours to the resort’s Vino space.

Sushi & Vino will run Thursdays from 6pm to 10.30pm and combine Market Kitchen’s creative sushi with the intimate and relaxed atmosphere of Vino.

The experience features a menu created exclusively for the pop-up, priced at €55. The Market Kitchen team favours “a contemporary and cosmopolitan approach to sushi”, with fresh fish, seasonal ingredients and modern Asian techniques.

The menu includes oysters from Ria Formosa with yuzu ponzu, lime zest and salmon roe; miso soup with local clams, wakame and coriander; salmon, tuna and sea bass sashimi; tuna hosomaki with chives and wasabi; futomaki with tuna, salmon, prawn and avocado; and a yuzu namelaka dessert with white chocolate and matcha.

Wine remains central to the experience. Vino offers a curated selection of national and international labels to pair with the menu.
