For a minimum donation of €10, you can own a cute handmade sheep

Tavira resident Christine Wright has been overwhelmed with orders following her ‘Sheep for Ewe-Kraine’ initiative.

“I bought the first one several months ago and thought ‘I can make these’,” said Christine, a regular member of the Friday morning arts group at Artina, an arts shop in Tavira.

“A friend suggested I sell them to raise funds for Ukraine, so for a minimum donation of €10, you can own a handmade sheep,” added Christine.

Every cent raised – Christine is donating all the materials – will go towards humanitarian relief for the people of Ukraine.
